Breakfast on the terrace: the sound of the river coursing through the Tins ravine below; home made blackberry jam; fresh strawberries from my little garden; the peaks of Canigou rising above the forested hills; a chubby wee sparrow singing from the neighbouring roof — its nest, a tiny crevice in the wall…
