Panier of Plenty

Variation on a theme

A spring morning

It is light that plays the greatest part in this ever changing landscape
– although the trees have their part as new foliage grows, it is the
interplay between the sunlight and clouds that makes each day unique.
Every minute of every hour, the canvas shifts in scale and dimension,
its nuances adjusted and inexorably altered by mists or the setting sun.
‘Green’ is not fixed but mutable, and open to interpretation.

The changing view, at dusk

The bathroom window view, dusk

The same trees, early morning

The same hills again, with mist

Mist still clings to the peaks at 11am
